Among the goals of EHDO, rendering a psycho social support to the children in the school Feeding program is the one. Hence, a program aimed to bring closer relationship and bonding amongst the students, the school community, the parents and members of EHDO family was carried out on April 20, 2019. The program kicked off by holding a short meeting and discussion amongst parents of the students, the teachers, woreda representatives and EHDO members. On the speeches they made, they expressed the significance of such events with the expected outcomes in relation to physical and mental development and psychological wellbeing of the children. Various activities were carried out following the meeting. Among the programs was visiting the art exhibition prepared by students .
Next, was a school visit. Afterwards, the games, competitions and sports shows commenced. In line with this , various sporting materials such as soccer balls, volley balls, jump ropes, custom made jerseys and shorts were donated to the school. Following this the games commenced and the school community as well as the parents and EHDO members and their children were all taking part in the program. A soccer match was also held between the school and EHDO members. The event was concluded with a reward ceremony for winners and participants and luncheon.
